Displaying goals and KPIs in multiple OGSMs

It is possible to display a goal or KPI in multiple OGSMs. This reduces double administration.

• Open the goal or KPI.
• Click on Add relation under the heading Relationships.

• Under What do you want to do?, choose the type Goal or KPI in the group Add as.
  • Goal: Select the OGSM to which you want to add the item.
  • KPI: Select the strategy in which you want to add the KPI.
  • You will see a list of the OGSMs that you as a user have access to for both options. Therefore, you cannot add a goal or KPI to OGSMs that you do not have access to. You can also search by the name of the team, OGSM and strategy. To show the item in several places at once, tick more than one row.
• Click on Save. The goal or KPI is now visible in the selected OGSM.

See where the item appears

Under the heading Relationships, the block Visible on shows the OGSMs the goal or KPI sits on. Click the name of an OGSM to go there directly.

Edit relation

• Open the goal or KPI.
• Under the heading Relationships, hover over the row you want to change and click the pencil icon.
• Edit the relation, or click the bin icon to take the item out of that OGSM. The screen spells out what removing does: the item disappears from that one OGSM and stays in the other places.

Removing goals and KPIs

When you remove a goal or KPI with the bin at the top of its detail screen, it is deleted from all OGSMs where it is visible. If the item sits in only one place, that is also the only way to remove it.
